I’ve been hella busy working on all things PanelsOnPages not only writing for the site but also recording weekly Podcast episodes every tuesday and moderating the ever expanding forums. So apologies all around for my general absence from the interwebz outside of the realm of PoP!
Ashley has slightly abandoned the chains of being storyline to rework it into a less Artifice continuity and has begun work reading and taking notes onto a hush hush Jac Milnestein sequel novel. Also I’ve personally begun work on a Nanowrimo project that is simply titled “Venus and Furs”.
Thats it for now, I’ll see about rustling Ashley up for some Chains of Being cliffs notes, see if I can pry her away from errant eskimo addled classrooms for a while around the holiday season.

Okay, as you may have noticed its been roughly 5 weeks since the last update to the FFR blog. Well its with good damn reason:
Ash is writing her book, unabashedly, without posting because she is on a motherlovin’ roll. School is almost back in session and that means teacher meeting crap for her and whatever stafff remediation meetings are kicking into gear.
I on the otherhand, I being me (Dr. Esbat von Lichtenstein), have been inducted into the ranks of the Panels on Pages crew. Thats right, I now professionally write for a legitmate site… once again. And this time, the site is actually active! Plus I’m a regular on the Panels on Pages podcast!

The Marvel Legends Nemesis Wave of figures are out NOW at your local walmarts!
Yesterday around lunchtime I picked up Nova and Tigra. It seems an entire case had been opened that morning and no one bothered to pick any of them up. Seems Black Bolt, Nova, and Tigra are 1 per case. With a Yellow Daredevil, a couple of Astonishing X-Men Beasts, and one of each version of the Punisher were available along with the Scarlet Spider, Ultimate War machine, and Heroes Reborn Iron Man from the Ares wave.
My years long search is over and not only did I find my figures, but I discovered that both Hasbro Corporate and Walmart Corporate LIED TO ME!

This is the cover to the first new story of a relaunch of the Artifice Comics title “New Mages”. Honestly I took a break from writing because I really really needed a break.
But here I am, back in the thick of it. Don’t think “Chains of Being” is abandoned, oddly enough inspite of my broken keyboard making typing difficult, I’ve been hard at work fleshing out the time between the events of Ars Magna #7 and the Chains of Being setting.
Essentially Lina was concieved in AM 6, and here we see her at roughly age 16 with a middle aged Sheila in CoB. I mention her “Aunts” being gone and this “Global Order” organization running things in the U.S. and this New Mages storyline will set things up and make it all proper continuity as all the different writers have come out of the woodwork and have started writing again. Yayness!
Anywho, I had Esbat throw together a cover for me and I slapped it into the photobucket and I have to say I’m pretty impressed with his work. It almost looks legit, heh.
I kid, its awesome, Batty.
So expect more posted links to the stories in the very near future and further chapters of Chains of Being are forthcoming!
